There's... ghosts.

[ Considering everything she's seen so far in Asgard, it can be that unbelievable, right? ]

[Okay.] Real ghosts?

[Or people in sheets...]

Heh, yeah. Hard to believe, I know.

Are you gonna say there are vampires in the cemetery and zombies too?

I haven't seen any yet, but there are werewolves and trolls here.

[justonetouch]

So avoid full moons and bridges?

[congeals]

[ He laughs. ]

Not exactly. Turns out that our stories aren't always right.

[justonetouch]

Meanin' what, exactly?

[Werewolves are everywhere anytime, and so are these trolls...]

[congeals]

Well, it depends on the world. But apparently, some werewolves can control when they change, and the trolls I've seen are... sorta weird, but don't live under bridges, waiting to eat people.

[justonetouch]

Ah hope they don't eat people at all... [Sounds like they've got enough to deal with without that.]

[ A laugh. ]

Nah, I don't think humans are part of their diet.

Good, 'cause I don't wanna be someone's lunch.

[ He'd never let that happen. ]

You'd be too sweet for them anyway. Give 'em cavities.

[Another playful bump onto his shoulder with hers.]

Long as they don't have a sweet tooth.

Then I'm sure you're safe.

[ A few more steps, and they arrive at the Carnival! As described, there's a bit of an unsettling atmosphere (due to some of the gloomy decorations), but it looks like a normal amusement park. ]

All this is still... [Normal. Normal-ish?] You almost expect a boot camp, when you here why you're here.

[Not exactly complaining, as she got to spend time with Bobby, but, it does give mixed messages.]

[ A nod, and he scratches the back of his neck with his free hand. ]

Yeah, it's... probably a way to keep us off guard, honestly.

But aside from ghosts, it's fine in there, right?

[It looks like things are running fine.]

[ He nods again. ]

And as far as I know, they only come out during the night.

Well then. [Tossing him a look as she grins, before moving towards it.]

[ He matches her smile and follows her lead. When they reach the entrance, he retrieves his wallet to purchase two tickets for them. ]

[Which reminds her, it seems she's going to need to look for a job eventually too.]

[ She could always apply where he works, if she wants! ;)

Handing her a ticket, he scans the area for the best games. He's determined to win her a prize by the end of the day. ]
