[ He arrives punctually, glancing around for her. He's seen one of her video posts before, but it's been a while, so he hopes he can correctly recall what she looks like.
[Bobby did say the door would be open, so Pyro just barges in, closing it heavily behind him. His fatigue and agitation are more evident in person, especially when he's not posturing for the network. Unlike Bobby, he hasn't bothered to bring any snacks or gifts - but that probably won't come as a surprise.]
Me and Euri had a fight. She's probably not talking to me again anytime this century. Happy?
[When Pyro arrives at Bobby's room, he's already drunk. Not falling-over, puking drunk, but his eyes are glazed and his face flushed, and everything about him just looks rumpled and unkempt. There's a bottle of whiskey hanging loosely from one hand, uncapped, probably about to drop and shower the carpet.
His knock is slow and loud, not stopping until Bobby answers.]
[His voice is small, unsure. Something huge has gone down here, and even though everyone comes back, gods also lie. No matter how much damage has been done to the city before - some of it by him - seeing it this devastated has him more than a little freaked out.]
[The thing about Euri is that she's a creature of habit, and her sleeping habits are as regular as the others. That's how he first realizes, through the haze of half-sleep, that something's wrong.
There's a body behind him when one should be on top of him, spread across him as though he were some kind of massive stuffed toy. That lack of pressure on his chest and abdomen, combined with the fact that he's on his side, form the first part of his confusion.
The second mostly focusses on the shape of the body pressed against his back, spooning him affectionately. It's too large, too solid, without any cushioning up front. That's nearly enough to send him into a panic, but then the fourth thing hits him: it's embarrassing to admit, but after a few years of living in the same room with him, Pyro knows Bobby's scent. Especially when he's close enough for it to be this overpowering.
He is in bed. With Bobby.
That's when he wakes up fully, and all the memories of the curse crash over him like a tsunami. Letting out muffled, strangled sounds of horror, he pries away the arm around his middle and tries to wiggle out of the bed without having to climb over Bobby's sleeping body, because straddling is right out of the question at this point. He has to get as far from Bobby as mutantly possible without touching him too much in the process.]
[In honor of the Earth holiday centering on love, Freya sends out a little gift around this time.
A small box containing a piece of chocolate will appear on your pillow during the day. When consumed, the chocolate’s magic will lift your mood for a short period of time. It’s accompanied by a note.]
Where love might bring about sorrow, it also welcomes joy.
[ In honour of the god centering on love being a giant frilly prissypants, Loki sends his own little gift just a few hours after hers.
His box of chocolate will look, smell, and taste exactly like Freya's did, appearing right next to where Freya's was or is if you haven't picked it up yet. The only difference between the two is that Loki's won't lift your mood; it'll give you loud and embarrassing flatulence for the next three hours.
It's also accompanied by a note. ]
Where joy might bring about yearning, it also welcomes wonder.
